Description
This battery is a compatible part designed for the ZenFone 2. It replaces the worn battery in your device and restores a decent battery life for everyday use. When the current battery drains too quickly, swells slightly or no longer holds a charge, this replacement is often the simplest way to extend the life of your phone.
Before you begin, switch the ZenFone 2 off completely, remove the back cover and disconnect the current battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean, dry surface at a moderate room temperature, and use an anti-static wrist strap or touch an earthed metal surface regularly to limit static electricity.
Once the new battery is installed, complete several full charge cycles before judging its battery life. Check that the device starts up properly, that charging takes place normally and that the battery does not overheat abnormally.
