Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn-out battery of your ZenFone 4 Max. It powers the phone and determines its battery life between two charges. When a battery ages, the smartphone may switch off suddenly, charge poorly or overheat during use. Replacing the battery is often the most effective repair to regain decent battery life.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a flat tool to open the casing without forcing it. Work on a clean, dry surface and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Never puncture or bend the battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
Once the new battery is installed, switch the phone back on and check that the display and charging work properly. For a new battery, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery indicator stabilises.
