Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the battery of a ZenFone 4. It powers the phone and restores a decent battery life when the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or drains too quickly.
Before fitting, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and without excessive force. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Remove the current part carefully, without puncturing or bending it.
Once the battery is installed, switch the device back on and check that the phone starts up and recognises the battery. Carry out a few full charge cycles to let the battery stabilise, then check battery life and temperature during use. If the battery swells, heats up abnormally or gives off a smell, stop using it immediately.
