Description

This Relife RL-059B screen separation wire spool, with a diameter of 0.05mm, is used to cut the adhesive that holds the screen to the chassis of a smartphone, tablet or computer. It is compatible with all models and therefore suits the repair of many devices. This is a compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer, designed for individuals who repair their own device.

Used with care, this wire lets you separate the current screen without damaging the panel or the frame, and avoids forcing the fragile edges. It also helps remove leftover adhesive before fitting a new screen. It is particularly useful when the screen is fixed with a tight adhesive and opening it with a lever could crack the glass.

Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Warm the edges gently with a hair dryer on moderate heat to soften the adhesive. Work slowly, without bending the wire, and keep away from the lithium battery, which must not be pierced or bent. If a battery is swollen, do not try to repair it. After reassembly, check the display, the touch function and the water resistance before closing the device completely.
