Description
The backlight coil iPhone 6S is an electronic component that powers the backlighting of your device's screen. It converts the voltage supplied by the board into a current suited to the backlight LEDs, so that the screen stays bright and even. When it fails, you often see a very dark screen, a display that only appears at certain angles, or flickering, while the image is still there when you shine light on the panel. This part is a compatible version made by a third party, not an original part.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, clear surface. Use anti-static tools and avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers. Handle the ribbon cables gently, without bending or pulling them, and keep heat moderate during disassembly. Once reassembled, check the brightness at several levels and on a light, then dark background before closing the casing fully.
