Description
This backlight coil is a spare part for the display of your iPhone 6 Plus. It powers the LCD screen's backlighting, the light that makes the display readable in the dark or indoors. When the coil weakens or fails, the screen may look very dim, show brighter and darker areas, or switch off intermittently, while the image remains visible in bright light. This part is a compatible reference made by a third party, designed to replace the current part.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the ribbon cables or connectors. Handle the coil by its edges and do not bend it. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it.
After fitting, check the screen's operation: brightness, even lighting and absence of flicker. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles before normal use. If the result is not satisfactory, recheck that the connectors are correctly seated before concluding.
