Description
This set of 2 buttons is designed for the Nintendo Switch. These are physical buttons, meaning the mechanical keys of the device. When a key is worn, stuck or no longer responds properly, it can be replaced with a new part to restore normal use. The part offered is a third-party Compatible product, chosen to provide an economical repair solution.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with room to keep the small screws. Use an anti-static tool or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit static discharge on the components. If the device contains a lithium battery, handle it with care: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and do not expose it to excessive heat.
Once reassembly is finished, check that each button responds firmly, without sticking or abnormal resistance. If a key remains inactive, reopen the device and check the position of the ribbon cable. A swollen battery must never be used: if in doubt, stop the repair and set the battery aside.
