Description
This flex cable carries the power and volume buttons of the Redmi 9C model. It is the small flexible part that passes the presses made on the side buttons of the device to the motherboard. When it is worn, oxidised or damaged, these buttons can become stiff, stop responding or act erratically. Replacing this part restores normal use of the power and volume keys.
This part is a compatible one, made by a third party. Before you start, switch the device off completely, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface free of static electricity. Keep the screws in a small container so they do not get lost. Avoid excessive heat when removing parts and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, check that each button works correctly before closing the device completely. If a button stays stuck or the device has a swollen battery, stop the repair immediately and do not use the device any more.
