Description
The power button, also called the on/off button, is the small part you press to switch your Xbox One on or off. It sits on a flexible ribbon cable that passes the press to the motherboard. When it stops responding, the device may fail to start, stay stuck on, or no longer lock properly. Replacing this button often restores reliable control without changing the whole phone or tablet.
This part is a compatible version made by a third party. It does not come from the manufacturer, which may be noticeable in the finish or the feel of the key. Before you start, switch the device off, disconnect it and work on a clean, dry surface. Use suitable tools and avoid forcing fragile connectors. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test several short and long presses. Also check the neighbouring volume button to make sure the ribbon cable is correctly seated. Once the repair is confirmed, keep the device at a moderate temperature during the first uses.
