Description

This test cable lets you check the rear camera of the iPhone 11 before or after a repair. It connects temporarily to the camera flex cable, so you can verify whether the module is detected and whether the image displays correctly, without dismantling the device to test each component. It is useful when a rear camera no longer works, shows a blurred or black image, or when you are unsure of the cause of a fault: faulty module, damaged flex cable or motherboard.

Before use, switch the iPhone off completely and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, anti-static surface with suitable tools, and avoid forcing the fine connectors. Handle the cable by its base rather than by the wires, so they are not bent or broken. If the battery is swollen, do not puncture or bend it, and do not recharge it.

After testing and reassembly, check that the rear camera, flash and autofocus work normally, then monitor the device's temperature during a few minutes of use. Keep the flex cable properly clipped in place and the device at a moderate temperature.
