Description
This test cable lets you check the rear camera of an iPhone 12 Pro before or after a part replacement. It connects to the logic board to verify the link with the camera module, which helps you determine whether the fault comes from the camera itself or from another component.
It is presented as a compatible part, made by a third party. Before connecting it, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and avoid electrostatic discharge by earthing yourself or working on an anti-static mat. Handle the connectors carefully, without forcing them, and keep the screws in a small tray so nothing gets lost.
After the repair, reconnect the battery, power the device back on and check the camera opening, focus and stabilisation. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not try to puncture or bend it. When in doubt, take the time to check each step.
