Description
This test cable lets you check the front camera of the iPhone X before or after a repair. It connects between the motherboard and the camera module to verify that the sensor is recognised by the device. It helps identify a fault coming from the front camera, such as a black or blurred image, or a screen that does not light up when the camera is used.
Before using it, disconnect the iPhone battery to avoid any short circuit, and protect your components from static electricity, for example by working on an anti-static surface. Connect the cable gently, without forcing the connectors, and check that it is properly seated before powering on the device.
After testing, reconnect the battery carefully and check that the camera works. Keep heat moderate during handling and avoid bending the ribbon cables. If the battery is swollen, do not attempt to repair it and stop using it.
