Description
The rear camera Galaxy Note 8 (US version) is the main photo module located on the back of the device. It captures light through its sensor and lens, and lets you take photos and videos with the rear camera. When it is faulty, you may notice a blurred, black or distorted image, or a camera app that will not open.
This part is compatible with the Galaxy Note 8 model. It is a third-party manufacture: it fits the stated model but is not an original part. Before you start, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if possible and work on a clean, flat surface. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the module. Disconnect the battery before unplugging the ribbon cables, and never bend the connectors.
After fitting, check that the image displays correctly, that focus works and that the camera app shows no error. Gently clean the lens glass with a lint-free cloth. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it.
