The rear camera is the photo module on the back of your phone. It captures light through a sensor and a lens, then sends the image to the processor. This compatible spare part for Galaxy Note 9 lets you replace a damaged photo module, for example after a fall, a cracked rear glass or when images are blurred, black or distorted.

Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the step allows it and work on a clean, dry surface. Avoid static discharges by touching an earthed metal surface, and handle the module by its edges without touching the lens.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and open the camera app to check focus, brightness and any unusual noise. If the image remains abnormal, check that the ribbon cable is correctly connected before any other intervention. Never use a swollen battery, and do not puncture or bend it.
