Description
This Galaxy Note 10.1" (2012) rear camera is a compatible part designed to replace the main photo module of your device. It captures the photos and videos taken with the lens on the back of the phone. When it is faulty, you often see a blurred, black or distorted image, spots, or a focus that no longer works, or a camera app that closes on its own.
Before you start, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if the design allows it, and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable tools. Work on a non-conductive surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never force a connector.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the rear camera in several situations: photo, video, zoom and focus, under varied lighting. Also check that the sensor is firmly seated and that no dust is under the glass. If a lithium battery is present, do not puncture it, bend it, or keep using a swollen battery.
