Description
The rear camera is the photo module on the back of your device. It captures light through its sensor and lens, then sends the image to the processor for photos and video. When it is damaged, you may notice a blurred, black or distorted image, an error message in the camera app, or a module that no longer activates. The rear camera Note Pro 12.2" (2014) ref. P900 is a compatible part, made by a third party, designed to replace the faulty module in your device.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching the contacts. Remove the current part carefully, without bending or forcing the nearby ribbon cables. Keep a non-metallic flat tool and a small suitable screwdriver to hand.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the camera app to test the rear lens, zoom, focus and video. Check that no dust or fingerprints are under the glass. If the image remains abnormal, reconnect the connector carefully and check that it clicks properly into place.

- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work.
- Avoid touching the contacts and the lens glass with your fingers.
- Handle the ribbon cables gently so they do not tear.
- Protect yourself from static electricity with a wrist strap or mat.
- Test photo, video and focus before closing the device.
