Description
The rear camera is the main photo module located on the back of the OnePlus 3T device. It captures the photos and videos taken with the rear lens. When it stops working, you often notice a blurry or black image, a frozen picture, or a camera app that closes on its own. This compatible part is an affordable alternative to get your device taking pictures again.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery where the design allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver, and avoid touching the lens glass with your fingers. Take the time to note the position of the screws and ribbon cables. Static discharge can damage components: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
Once assembly is complete, check that the rear camera works properly: test focus, zoom, flash and video recording, in several lighting conditions. Also check that there is no dust or marks under the glass. If the device has a lithium battery, never puncture it, bend it or use a swollen battery.
