Description
The rear camera OnePlus 6 is the main photo module on the back of the phone. It captures light through its sensor and lens, then passes the image to the processor to produce photos and videos. This replacement part, a compatible type, is intended for private individuals who want to repair their device themselves. It can notably fix a blurred, black or distorted image, or a camera that no longer opens in the camera app.
Before starting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Use suitable tools, and never force the connectors or fragile ribbon cables. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
Once the module is installed, switch the device back on and test the rear camera in both photo and video modes, including focus and flash. Check that no dust is visible under the glass and that the unit is securely fixed. If the image remains abnormal, reconnect the ribbon cable properly and check that the screws are tight.
