Description
The rear camera Pixel 5 is the main photo module of your device, the one used to take photos and videos with the lens on the back of the phone. It is connected to the motherboard by a small ribbon cable and is replaced as a standalone component.
This part fixes the most common faults: blurry or black image, distorted photos, zoom that no longer works, or a camera error message in the settings. Before starting, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if the model allows it, and work on a clean, clear surface so the small screws do not get lost. Protect the components from static electricity by avoiding touching the gold-coloured contacts.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the camera app to test the rear camera, then check focus, flash and video recording. Then refit the cover, making sure the seals and clips are correctly positioned. If the image remains abnormal, recheck the ribbon cable connection before concluding there is a fault.
