Description
The rear camera Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (2014) (ref. T113) is the main photo module on the back of the device. It captures light through its sensor and lens, then sends the image to the processor to produce your photos and videos. When it is faulty, you may notice a blurry image, spots, abnormal colours, a black screen when opening the camera, or a camera that no longer launches. This part is compatible, made by a third party, and intended to replace the faulty rear camera of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (2014).
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, protected from static electricity, with suitable tools and small screws kept well organised. Never force the ribbon cables. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not try to puncture or bend it.
Once the module is fitted, power the device back on and test the rear camera as you would the front camera, taking several photos and videos with and without flash. Check sharpness, focus and the absence of any unusual noise. If the device overheats or the image remains faulty, stop using it and check the connections again.
