Description
This rear camera Galaxy Tab E 8.0" (2016) (ref. T377) is a compatible replacement part designed to replace the main photo module of your device. It is an alternative to the current part, made by a third-party manufacturer, which allows you to repair at a lower cost. When the rear camera is faulty, you often notice a blurry, black or distorted image, or a photo app that stays frozen. This replacement module can also fix focus problems or stray light streaks visible in your photos.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with a suitable screwdriver, and avoid static discharge by earthing yourself. Do not puncture, bend or use a swollen battery. Separate the ribbon cables carefully and avoid forcing the connectors.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the photo app to check that it works. Test focus, zoom, flash and video. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise it. Moderate warmth while charging is preferable.
