Description
This telephoto rear camera is designed for the Galaxy S20+ model, US version. It replaces the telephoto camera module on the back of the device, the one that lets you zoom in on a distant subject. When the current part is faulty, photos may look blurry, dark or distorted, the zoom may stop working, or the camera app may report a camera error.
This is a compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer. It performs the same functions as the current part, without being identical to it. Before you start, switch the device off completely, disconnect the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean, flat surface. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the part, and never force fragile connectors.
After fitting, power the device back on and test each camera, including zoom, focus and night mode. Also check that the sensor shows no visible dust or fingerprints. If your device's battery is swollen, do not use it, and do not puncture or bend it.
