Description
This rear camera is a compatible spare part for the Tribute HD smartphone. It replaces the camera module on the back of the device, the one that captures photos and videos when you use the main lens. If your photos are blurry, dark or distorted, or if the camera app shows an error, this module may be the cause, as may a damaged rear glass or connecting cable.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and charge it if needed, so that you work on a phone that is as cool and charged as possible. Work on a clean, flat surface with anti-static tools, and avoid touching the gold contacts unnecessarily. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
Once the camera is fitted, check everything before fully closing the casing: take a few test photos and videos, by day and by night, and check focus and image stability. Also make sure the phone does not overheat abnormally while using the camera.
