Description
The rear camera is the main photo module on the back of the V20 phone. It captures light through its sensor and lens, then sends the image to the processor to produce photos and videos. When it is cracked, blurred, or shows a black screen or a distorted image in the camera app, this part can be replaced to restore a sharp picture.
This rear camera is a compatible part, made by a third party, intended for repairing the V20. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery where possible and work on a clean, dry surface. Take care not to touch the lens with your fingers and use a plastic tool to release the module without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object before handling the components.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the camera app to check sharpness, focus and colour, on both the front and the rear. If a fault appears, reconnect the connectors and check that they are seated properly. Never use a phone whose battery is swollen or damaged.
