Description
The rear camera X Power (ref. K210) is the main photo module on the back of the phone. It captures photos and videos from the rear and connects to the motherboard through a thin ribbon cable. When it is faulty, the image can be blurred, black, stained, or the camera app may show an error or close suddenly.
This part is a compatible camera, made by a third party. It replaces the current part without changing the other components of the device. Before you start, switch the X Power off completely, remove the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean surface, avoiding static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, reinsert the battery, switch the device back on and test the rear camera, zoom, autofocus and flash in several lighting conditions. Also check that the sensor holds no dust and that the protective glass is properly in place. If you are unsure about the connection, stop rather than forcing a ribbon cable.
Tips
- Switch off and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables
- Work on a clean surface, free of dust and static electricity
- Never force connectors: they lock in gently
- Check the flash, zoom and autofocus after fitting
- Swollen or damaged battery: stop using it and do not puncture it
