It captures light through its lens and sends the image to the processor, which allows you to take photos and videos. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean, anti-static surface. Try to avoid touching the lens with your fingers.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera for both photo and video, varying brightness and focus. Also check the flash if your model has one. If a ribbon cable is fragile, handle it gently and do not bend it.
