Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Samsung Galaxy A02s (A025, 2020). It is used to take photos and videos facing you, for video calls and video conferences. When it is faulty, you often see a blurred, black, frozen or missing image in apps that use the front camera.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Locate the connector of the ribbon cable before unplugging it and take a photo of the assembly to help you when reassembling.
After fitting, check that the camera works before closing the phone completely: open the camera app, test the front shot, then make a video call. If the battery was disconnected, let it recharge gradually. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and stop using the device if the battery looks swollen.
