Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of a Samsung Galaxy A20e, model A202, released in 2019. It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, especially for video calls. If your selfies are blurry, black or distorted, or if the device no longer detects the front camera, this module may solve the problem.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery where the disassembly allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool to open the front without forcing it. Be careful of static electricity, which can damage electronic components: avoid touching the contacts unnecessarily. Do not bend the ribbon cable and handle the battery with care.
Once the part is fitted, switch the device back on and open the camera app to test the front camera. Also check sharpness and colours. If a battery swells or overheats abnormally during the repair, stop using it.
