Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Samsung Galaxy A20s (model A207, released in 2019). It is used to take front-facing photos and videos, as well as for facial recognition and video calls. If your selfies are blurry, grainy or frozen, or if the device no longer detects the front camera, the current part is often the cause, and replacing it can resolve these faults.
Before you begin, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model's design allows it. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static tool to avoid damaging the components. Handle the ribbon cables with care, without bending them or forcing the connectors. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not attempt to puncture or bend it.
After fitting, check that the camera works in the photo app, when recording video and during a test call. Also check the focus and the absence of marks or dust under the glass. Keep heat moderate while handling the device, and reassemble the phone carefully.
