Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front photo module of an A5 smartphone (model A500, 2015). It is used for selfie photos, video calls and video conferences. If your front camera is blurry, black, no longer activates or shows a frozen image, this part may solve the problem.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and an anti-static wrist strap or simply by touching a metal surface to discharge static electricity. Note the position of the screws and connectors, then gently remove the ribbon cable that connects the camera to the motherboard, without bending it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the camera app to test the front camera, then a video call. Also check sharpness and brightness. Close the casing only after these checks.

- Do not bend the ribbon cable and disconnect it carefully
- Test the camera before closing the casing
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
