Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of a Samsung Galaxy A52s (model A528, released in 2021). It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, during video calls and video conferences. When it is damaged, you often see a blurred, black, frozen image or no image at all in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the ribbon cable allows it. Work on a clean surface, in a well-lit place, with anti-static tools. Handle the part by its edges to avoid electrostatic discharge and never force the delicate connectors.
After fitting, switch the device on and test the camera before closing the phone: photo, video, video call and screen detection. Also watch the battery temperature during the first uses. If the battery swells or is damaged, stop using it.
