Description
The front camera is the small module that captures your image for selfies and video calls. On the Galaxy A53 (2020), a faulty front camera can cause a blurred, black, frozen or missing picture in the camera app and during calls. This compatible part replaces the damaged module so you can take pictures normally again.
Before fitting, switch off the smartphone completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, to avoid any short circuit when handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with a suitable screwdriver and suction cups or a plastic tool to open the device without forcing it. Protect the components from static electricity by avoiding touching the gold contacts directly.
Once the camera is installed and the device reassembled, check that it works by opening the camera app and testing the front camera as well as a video call. If the image remains dark or unstable, make sure the ribbon cable is properly clicked in. Never puncture or bend the battery, and stop using any device whose battery is swollen.
