Description
The front camera is the small module that captures images of your face during selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed to replace the module of the Samsung A54s (2021) when it is faulty. It suits the most common faults: blurred image, black screen on the selfie side, distorted colours or a camera app that no longer starts.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, away from static electricity, and use a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the screen or cutting a ribbon cable. Check the alignment of the new module carefully before closing up.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before reassembling it completely: open the camera app, take a few selfies and make a video call. If the image remains abnormal, reconnect the connectors and check that they make good contact.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any intervention
- Use a plastic tool to open the casing without damaging it
- Avoid static electricity: work on an anti-static surface
- Test the camera before fully closing the device
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
