Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus (A605, 2018 model). It lets you replace the current part when it no longer works properly: blurry, black or distorted image, or a camera not detected by the phone.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if the procedure allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharges that can damage components. Use suitable tools to open the screen without forcing it, and handle the ribbon cables with care so you do not bend or tear them.
Once the assembly is finished, turn the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the device. Check focus, brightness and operation in several apps. If the image remains abnormal, check that the ribbon cable is correctly connected. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
