Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your Samsung Galaxy A7 model A710, released in 2016. It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferences. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, frozen or missing from the camera app screen, or the device may no longer detect it.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface in a well-lit place, and use suitable tools so you do not scratch the screen. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it or forcing its connectors.
Once the assembly is finished, switch the device on and test the camera before fully closing the phone: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and check sharpness, colours and video call function. If the current part shows a crack or signs of impact, also check the ribbon cable that connects it to the board.
