Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Samsung Galaxy A7 (A720, 2017 model). It is used to take photos and videos facing you, especially for video calls and selfies. It helps fix the most common faults: blurred or black image, selfie not displaying, camera app closing as soon as you switch to front mode.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a plastic spudger so the casing does not get scratched. Avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers and use an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. Without applying excessive pressure, carefully lift the ribbon cable and the module so you do not bend the cable.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, then switch the device on and open the camera app in selfie mode to check the image. If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it. A compatible part may show slight colour differences compared with the original part: this is normal for this type of product.
