Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front photo module of your A74 4G, used for selfies and video calls. When the module is damaged, the image may be blurry, dark, frozen or missing from the camera app and video calls.
The part is fitted in place of the current one after opening the screen and disconnecting the battery. Before any work, switch off the phone, disconnect the battery and avoid touching the contacts with bare hands to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Handle the ribbon cables with care, without bending or forcing them.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the phone completely: test the photo, the video and the video conferencing. If the battery was disconnected, switch the device back on and check the display and focus.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test the camera before closing the phone
- Do not use the battery if it is swollen
- Avoid excessive heat during the repair
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
