Description
The front camera is the small module that captures the image for selfies and video calls. It sits at the top of the screen, near the earpiece speaker. This part, compatible with the A9 Pro (A910, 2016), lets you replace the front camera when it no longer works or shows a blurred, black or distorted image.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a flat, clean surface with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Keep the screws in a small container so you don't lose them. Avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the front camera in several apps, for both photos and video. Also check that the proximity sensor and screen brightness work properly, as they are located nearby. If the current part is swollen or damaged, do not reuse it.
