Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small camera module at the top of the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and face recognition unlock when the device supports it. If your Galaxy A94 5G no longer takes sharp photos, shows a blurred or black image, or the camera no longer launches, the current part is probably the cause.
This front camera is a compatible part, made by a third party. It is offered to replace the current part at a reduced cost. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean, clear surface. Use an anti-static tool and avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers.
After reassembly, first check the image sharpness in the Camera app, then test a video call. If the battery was disconnected, switch the device back on and check that the part is recognised. Never use a swollen battery, do not puncture it and do not bend it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work.
- Use an anti-static tool to avoid damaging the camera.
- Do not touch the lens with your fingers, dust leaves marks.
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending or forcing them.
- Test the camera and face recognition before closing the device.
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
