Description
This compatible front camera replaces the iPhone 14 front module, used for selfies, video calls and the face recognition linked to certain screen functions. If your photo is blurry, if the camera no longer activates, or if the image appears black or distorted, this module may be the cause.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable screwdriver and a plastic tool to open the screen without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid any contact with electronic components to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Never bend the ribbon cable and do not pierce anything near the lithium battery.
After fitting, first check that the front camera is detected in the camera app, then test photo capture, video recording and face recognition unlocking. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Reference concerned: A2882, A2649, A2881, A2883, A2884.
