Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of the phone. It is used for selfies, photos facing the screen and video calls. This compatible part for the Desire 700 replaces a faulty module. It fixes common problems: blurry or grainy image, black screen in the camera app, frozen image or no video during a call.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, away from static electricity, with a plastic tool so you do not scratch the chassis. Avoid overheating the phone to loosen the glass; moderate heat is enough.
After fitting, test the front photo, video and calls before fully closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, do not try to repair it and stop using it.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the device's cables.
- Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity.
- Test the camera before closing the casing and the screen.
- Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, stop using it.
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
