Description
The front camera is the module that captures selfies and video calls, located at the top of the screen. This compatible part replaces the current module when it no longer works, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or no longer launches in photo and video call apps.
This camera is a compatible part, made by a third party, designed for the Find X2 Neo (2020). Before you start, switch the phone off completely, remove the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean, flat surface. Use suitable tools to avoid scratching the frame, and handle the module by its edges to limit the risk of static electricity.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing: check sharpness, brightness and that both the photo and video apps work properly. If the module is poorly positioned, the image may be shifted or dark. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using any device whose battery is swollen.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any intervention
- Handle the module by its edges to limit static electricity
- Check sharpness and brightness before closing the casing
- Do not force the ribbon cables: they tear easily
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
