Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and face authentication. This compatible part for the G2 model replaces the current one when the image is blurry, dark or distorted, or when the camera no longer appears in apps.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cable, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, flat surface, protected from static electricity, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the frame. Never force the connectors and check the orientation of the part before fitting it.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing it fully. Check sharpness, brightness and that face recognition works. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
