Description
The front camera is the small module located on the front of the device, near the screen. It is used for selfies, photos and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the G3 model. When it is faulty, the image may be blurry, black or absent, and the device may no longer recognise the camera in apps.
Before replacement, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery, especially before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface at a moderate room temperature, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture or bend the battery.
After fitting, check that the camera works before closing the casing: test the photo, the video and a call. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device.
