Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This Compatible part for the Galaxy Alpha replaces the faulty module when the image is blurry, black, distorted or missing in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cables with care and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before you work.
After fitting, check that the camera is recognised in the settings and test it in several apps before closing the phone. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery is swollen.
