Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Galaxy M34 5G, lets you replace a damaged module, for example if it no longer switches on, shows a blurred or black image, or if focusing no longer works properly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, well-lit surface. Use suitable tools and an anti-static mat to protect components sensitive to static electricity. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, never pierce or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen. Keep an eye on heat, which should remain moderate throughout the repair.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the phone completely: test taking a photo, video and the preview display. If you also replace the battery, carry out a few full charge cycles to let it settle properly.
