Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of your smartphone, above the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Galaxy Note 10, lets you replace a damaged module, for example if the image is blurred, dark, frozen, or if the camera no longer activates in the camera app or during a video call.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery or disconnect it where the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, ideally with an anti-static tool, as static electricity can damage electronic components. Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending or forcing them, and use moderate heat if you need to lift a glued part.
After fitting, check the camera in the camera app and during a test video call, then check that brightness and sharpness are correct. Reassemble the phone only once all connectors are properly clipped in.
