Description
The front camera is the camera module located at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part for the Galaxy Note 2 lets you replace a faulty module when the image is blurry, black, frozen or missing during a video call.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface and use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it. Avoid any contact with electronic components and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
Once the part is installed, switch the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check sharpness, brightness and the operation of the camera app as well as video calls. If the image remains faulty, check the connectors and the ribbon cable before drawing a conclusion.
