Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, especially for video calls. When the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in the camera app, the module is often the cause, provided the problem does not come from a setting or software.
Before starting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool to open the screen without forcing it. Avoid bending the ribbon cables and protect the part against static electricity. For your safety, do not use a device with a swollen battery, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
After fitting, check the camera in the camera app, then test both shooting directions and the image quality. If the phone needs charging, run a few full charge cycles to confirm it works properly.
