Description
The front camera is the camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the Galaxy Note 3 module when it is damaged, no longer focuses, shows a blurred or black image, or no longer switches on during a video call.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, using anti-static tools or an earthing wrist strap to limit the risk of static electricity, which can damage components. Always disconnect the screen ribbon before handling the camera, and be gentle with the fine connectors.
Once the part is fitted, switch the device back on and check the camera before closing the phone: open the camera app, test a shot and start a video call. If no image appears, check that the ribbon is properly seated. Keep the phone at room temperature.
